Sanctuary

My Father told me that beautiful girls are just sanctuaries for men to commit their darkest sins in. Whether this is true or not, I know I’ve met a girl with hymns sliced into her wrists. When I began to love her, I found scriptures cut into her hips. Sometimes she grips me so tightly, it reminds me of hands holding each other in prayer waiting to be blessed. I do not know much about sanctuaries but I know this, I will keep her pure.
